Danyi Dani - Notes on a First Siciliana

First Notes on „A First Siciliana”

„For Wolfgang Amadeus, the
hesitating rhythm of
the siciliana
lent itself to the portrayal of
grief...

with lilting rhythms”

J H Conway Dreams Notes on A First Siciliana

Take Sicily as
a mirror,
her skew-curved
island screen
set on an inland sea

of modelling space
for a quiet house that generates
its own metamorphosis,
self-replicating at
an evolutionary pace

where each of its pixels are
(about ten to the power of sixteen
ways) a millimeter speck

Vrda
Rhodon
Róza Melindia
rose weightless

*

each speck switches discretely
OFF or ON
for a few rule-governed millennia
or more

to clone perfect roses for
a black and white planar garden
Silva Szilvia

her dark flower
imagines
each early evening tree
imagines
the swirling Italiano-meridionale-estremo galaxy
imagines

Who can pick up flowers from a mirror screen?
